Guranda received her master’s degree in Social Work from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2013. She joined GASW in the summer of 2016 and she is involved in several projects as a staff member, project manager and trainer. She has work experience on the field, as well as in the role of a mid-level manager. In 2014-2016 Guranda worked at the Division of Rehabilitation Programs at the National Probation Agency as a social worker and later, as a senior specialist in social work. In 2012-2014 Guranda worked as a social worker at the Social Services Agency. In addition, she had practice placement at the Public Health Fund (with children who are victims of abuse); she also has experience of working in research projects.






 








Teona Mamukishvili has master’s degree in Social Work. Her practice is linked to child welfare.
Teona’s experience in the child welfare field starts with her experience as a beneficiary in her childhood. She was in care of SOS Children’s Village and the choice of her profession was determined by her experience.
Her work experience is related to child welfare. She worked at both governmental and non-governmental organizations. Tbilisi Children’s Crisis Center, Social Services Agency, Charity Foundation “Caritas Georgia”, and Federation “Save the Children” – this is a list of organizations where she has achieved numerous successes when working with both children and their families.
Teona is also involved in the projects aimed at supporting the youth who are leaving and who have left care organized by international organizations. Teona is a member of the European International Council of Youth Who Have Left Care, as well as a member of the U.S. International Committee of Youth Who Have Left Care.











Natia Matcharashvili has her master’s degree in Social Work from Ilia State University (2007-2009). She has 12 years of experience in social work which includes social work direct practice experience, as well as holding management positions and leading practice teaching in the fields such as child welfare and protection, justice and domestic abuse.
In 2005-2007 she was engaged in direct practice at the project “Learning to Live” at the organization World Vision. In 2007-2012 she worked as a practitioner social worker, and later, as a senior social worker in the child welfare field. In 2012-2016 she worked at the National Probation Agency – as a senior social worker during the first two years and from 2014 to 2016 as a social work advisor of the Rehabilitation Division. Currently, Natia Macharashvili is a member of GASW staff; she coordinates various projects and is involved in the activities conducted by GASW.









Nelly Akobia is currently the Program Support Officer at GASW. She has been GASW staff member since 2011. She received her master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University in New York with a concentration in Social Enterprise Administration and a focus on children, youth and families. She started her career in social work in 2007 as a social worker working with children deprived of care. Nelly is currently most heavily involved in the directions working on the problems faced by children and persons with disabilities. She has been participating in various projects carried out by GASW including development of school social work, developing supervision and performance evaluation systems for social workers, developing child care service monitoring system, capacity building of governmental, non-governmental and international agencies in social services provision to enhance the well-being of various service user groups, developing social enterprises in various regions of Georgia, etc.
Since 2011 Nelly has been teaching as an invited lecturer at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Ilia State University at bachelor’s and master’s programs in social work as well as at certification courses for practicing social workers.










Qetevan is a Bachelor of Social Work. She joined GASW in 2017 as a coordinator of the project “United Voices for Children” which supports the strengthening of the Coalition for Children and Youth. Currently, Qeti is the manager of Relations with Members. She has work experience on the field as well as in the role of a mid-level manager. In 2016 she worked as a senior social worker at the LGBT organization “Identoba” (Identity). In 2014-2015 she worked at SOS Children’s Village Family Strengthening Project as a social worker at the shelter for mothers and children. In 2013-2014 she was in England within the EU volunteering program and volunteered at the organization Depaul UK at the services for homeless/vulnerable youth. In 2011-2013 she was employed at the Georgian branch of the organization EveryChild as a social worker within the frames of the components of assessing boarding schools and strengthening foster care














Ketevan Gigineishvili is a PhD student in Social Work at Ilia State University. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Ilia State University in 2012. Since 2011, she has been working with children and persons with disabilities. She has work experience at both field and mezzo levels (member of the Coalition and working groups, as well as manger of several projects). In 2013 she participated in the study program “Social Workers for Changes” in the Czech Republic. In 2016-2017 she taught Social Work Theory and Practice at the National University of Georgia. In February, 2017, Ketevan Gigineishvili joined GASW and is involved as the coordinator in the small-grants program “Support to Family Strengthening in the regions of Georgia”.











Sopio Bachilava is a staff member at GASW. She is involved in the projects “Social Workers for Social Changes in Eastern Neighborhood Countries” and “Support to Social Inclusion of Youth with Disabilities”.
Sopio received her master’s degree in Social Work from Ilia State University in 2016. Her field practice is comprised of mainly school social work. In 2013-2017 Sopio worked at the Civic Education Program “Future Generation”. In addition, she taught civic education at the public school #30 in Tbilisi and at the private school in Opiza.











Nino has her master’s degree in Social Work from Neubranderburg University of Applied Sciences in the Federal Republic of Germany. She has joined GASW in 2017 and works on the position of the Social Work Support Officer. She is engaged in the projects “Support to Psycho-Social Support Systems at School” and “Support to the Realization of the rights of Persons with Disabilities”. In 2015-2016 she worked at the Ministry of Education and Science as a technical manager at the project “Implementation of Inclusive Education in the Vocational Education and Training System in Georgia”. In 2011-2012 she was employed at the Georgian Branch of the British charity organization EveryChild within the frames of the project “Strengthening Child Care Systems and Services” as a social worker within the component of strengthening foster care. Since 2016, she teaches the course “Major Principles of Inclusive Education” at Tbilisi Iv. Javakhishvili State University and Ilia State University.










Tamar Sautieva is a staff member at GASW. She is involved in the project “Support to the Social Inclusion of Youth with Disabilities” and contributes to the development of school social work.
Tamar received her master’s degree in social work from Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University in 2016. She was involved in direct field work with the victims of trafficking and domestic abuse (2016). She also worked with the LGBT community within her practice placement (2014-2015). Additionally, she taught Turkish language at the public school #54 and was engaged in various activities.

 














ირმა არის სოციალური მუშაობის მაგისტრი.  2014 წელს მოიპოვა სოციალური მუშაობის ბაკალავრის, ხოლო 2017 წელს - მაგისტრის ხარისხი. იგი ასოციაციას 2017 წლის ზაფხულიდან შემოუერთდა და ჩართულია ორ პროექტში. 2015-2017 წლებში მუშაობდა  სოციალურ მუშაკად ქუჩაში მცხოვრებ და მომუშავე ბავშვებთან World Vision International საქართველოს ფილიალის გლდანის დღისა და სადღეღამისო თავშესაფარში.  ასევე მუშაობდა ველზე იუსტიციის სამინისტროს მიერ დაფინანსებულ საგრანტო პროექტში ,,ინოვაციები ინტეგრაციისთვის“. 2016 წლის მაისი-აგვისტოს თვეებში მუშაობდა ივანე ჯავახიშვილის სახელობის თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში მკვლევარის პოზიციაზე კორპორაციული სოციალური პასუხისმგებლობის კვლევის მიმართულებით.  გარდა ამისა, გავლილი აქვს პრაქტიკები შეზღუდული შესაძლებლობის მქონე პირებთან, სექსუალური უმცირესობების წარმომადგენლებთან და ბავშვთა კეთილდღეობის სფეროში.
