Since its establishment Georgian Association of Social Workers has been supporting implementation of the practice of social work within the social services in Georgia.

- Developing forms to assess the practice of social workers
- Developing the concept and forms for professional supervision in social work
- Developing and implementing social work practice standards by various services
- Implementing social work ethical standards in practice
- Implementing the system of social workers’ performance evaluation
- Developing the format for social workers and other helping professionals to work in a group
- Efficient usage of social work methods and tools
The content and format of methodological consultations are developed as per the requirements of the specific group or organization.
Methodological consultations are carried out by experienced members of GASW who have higher education in social work (at minimum, master’s degree) and at minimum 10 years of practice in social work.
