GASW Chairperson, Nino Shatberashvili is starting to hold meetings with regional members across the country.
The goal of the noted meetings is to discuss professional achievements and challenges, factors supporting and hindering professional activities, as well as systemic and individual problems faced by social workers; also, the goals include assessment of the quality of service provision in each region, holding discussions on improving the existing services and on other current issues, and setting future plans. In addition, this meeting has a goal to support GASW members to more actively engage in the improvement and development of the profession.
With the noted goal, GASW Chairperson will first meet with members in Tbilisi on June 28th. The meeting can be attended by both GASW members and the social workers who would like to cooperate with our professional association and become its members in the future.
