On August 15th, GASW Chairperson, Nino Shatberashvili will hold a meeting in Mtskheta with members in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region. The goal of the noted meeting is to discuss professional achievements and challenges, factors supporting and hindering professional activities, as well as systemic and individual problems faced by social workers; also, the goals include assessment of the quality of service provision in each region, holding discussions on improving the existing services and on other current issues, and setting future plans. In addition, this meeting has a goal to support GASW members to more actively engage in the improvement and development of the profession.
