GASW together with the Georgian Health Law and Bioethics Society representatives will hold the next training for Kakheti region village doctors and nurses starting from September 30th. GASW trainer, Natalia Bedianashvili is involved in the noted training within the frames of the project of the Czech Republic Caritas “Enhancing accessibility of medical and social services for persons with disabilities”.
The training will be held on September 30th – October 1st in Telavi. The topics will include: rights of persons with disabilities, forms of communication, autism, tools to identify early development disorders in children, social worker’s role in primary healthcare – international experience, and the specifics related to the functioning of the hotline for protecting patients’ rights.
In addition, Natalia Bedianashvili will hold a meeting on September 30th within the noted project with Telavi state social workers with the goal to enhance the quality of medical and social services provision to persons with disabilities.
