On November 21st, GASW hosted the showing of Tomislav Zaja's documentary "Free". The documentary has received numerous awards at various festivals. The film tells a story of a group of people who have intellectual disabilities and who are imprisoned in institutions in Croatia. The documentary follows these people after they leave the institutions and begin their life in the society. The film depicts how they get accustomed to independet life and how they are helped by various professionas in this process.
After showing the film, the director had a discussion with the viewers. The event was supported by Open Society Georgia and was led by Tiko Tsomaia, lecturer at GIPA.
