On December 14th the project “Support to Social Inclusion of Youth with Disabilities” hosted a conference at Tbilisi Marriott with the goal to summarize its results for the year and to present school social work and youth work concepts. The project is undertaken by GASW with People in Need, Czech international non-governmental organization with the financial support of Czech Development Agency. Both concepts were developed by relevant working groups operating within the project which included representatives of state and non-state sectors and the community of persons with disabilities. The conference was attended by the working group members, as well as a larger audience from the state and non-state sectors and the community of persons with disabilities. Starting from the next year, it is planned to resume the working groups and continue to refine the concepts which should be followed by advocating for the implementation of the concepts with the Ministry of Sports and Youth and the Ministry of Education.
This conference was preceded by the final meetings in this year for both working groups on December 13th at Tbilisi Marriott. These meetings served the purpose of refining the concepts for the conference on December 14th.
